Obama—and Teens—Elect To Use Technology

President-Elect Obama Meets With The Transition Economic Advisory Board

The votes are in: cyberspace rules. If there is any doubt about the alchemy of social networking, just take a look at Obama’s supersized victory yesterday in the presidential election. His technology-based campaign will go down in the history books as a new model for campaigning and fund-raising, with a transformative effect on both national politics as well as possibly personal and corporate transactions. The latest applications, services, software and widgets were plied to create the Obama e-machine and mobilize young first-time voters. President Obama will appoint, for the first time, a CTO, a national technology czar, elevating high-tech issues to the cabinet level.

Well, needless to say, we here at BodiMojo are psyched, since we also will be pushing the buttons of user-generated networks, ours being among teens to get the mojo going about health and exercise. The Obama campaign used text-message updates and emails, ring tones for phones, new networks of online “friends” and other Web gadgets; these same tools are the BodiMojo bells and whistles. We’d love for you to jump on our bandwagon.
